The City of Refuge of NC

Our Vision

God spoke and New Fellowship (now called The City of Refuge of NC) came into existence.  There is a plan and purpose for everything that God creates.  He didn’t create buildings to dwell in.  (For I the Lord thy God is bigger than any building).  The City of Refuge of NC was created because God has a purpose for it.

This ministry is to be separated from the norm; it must be a place with a whole heart.  We must be a people who will allow God to make our hearts His home.  A ministry that will cry loud, spare not and will lift up their voices like a trumpet, and show my people their transgressions.

This ministry has been chosen to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free and to break every yoke.  There must be sacrifices made through fasting and prayer.  This place has been created to be a place of restoration.  That’s why it is called The City of Refuge of NC.  God spoke and said concerning this ministry, they that shall be of thee (TCOR) shall build the old waste places: thou shall rise up the foundation of many generations and thou shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in.  The word breach means an opening made by breaking down something solid.

This ministry must be a place of strength that comes only from God.  A place that can endure adversity.  A place that knows how to weather the storms of life.  We must have steadfastness.  (1 Cor. 5:58 says) Therefore, My beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.  That’s why this place is called a place of Refuge or a place of shelter.  Wherever God is, there is Refuge.

The people must learn to delight themselves in the Lord; and He will cause us to ride upon the high places of the earth.  He shall guide us continually and we shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

When God speaks–His words are sure.  This ministry must stand only on the words of God, the one who created The City of Refuge of NC.  It must be guided by the precious Holy Spirit.  A ministry that will not touch God’s glory, but bring a glory and honor to God Almighty, the one who created all things.
